The MST Shaking Table range comprises five models — the ST-30, ST-80, ST-140, ST-300, and ST-700 — designed to cover everything from laboratory test work through to large-scale production gravity gold circuits. Choosing the right model depends on your feed tonnage, gold particle size, concentrate upgrade requirements, and available space and power. This guide walks through each model and its ideal application.
ST-30: Laboratory and Pilot Scale
The ST-30 is the smallest table in the MST range and is designed for laboratory test work, ore characterisation, and pilot-scale studies. It produces representative data on table performance and recovery that can be used to size and configure larger production tables. The ST-30 is used by metallurgical laboratories, universities, and exploration companies to evaluate the gravity recoverable gold content of ore samples and develop flow sheet parameters for larger circuits.
ST-80 and ST-140: Small-Scale and Artisanal Mining
The ST-80 and ST-140 are well-suited for small-scale and artisanal gold mining operations, alluvial gold plants, and as cleaner tables in larger gravity circuits. They process between 80kg and 140kg per hour of classified feed and produce a high-grade, smeltable gold concentrate. Both models are compact, easy to install, and can be operated on a single-phase power supply, making them practical for remote and off-grid locations.
ST-300: Mid-Scale Production
The ST-300 is the most versatile table in the MST range and the most popular choice for mid-scale gold mining operations. It handles 300kg per hour of classified feed and is equally effective as a standalone concentrate upgrader or as a rougher table in a two-stage circuit. The ST-300 is in operation across Africa, South America, and Southeast Asia in operations ranging from 50 to 500 tonnes per day run-of-mine throughput.
ST-700: Large-Scale Production
The ST-700 is the largest table in the MST range and is designed for high-throughput gravity gold circuits. Processing up to 700kg per hour of classified feed, the ST-700 is typically used as a primary rougher table ahead of a smaller cleaner table, or in parallel arrays in large-scale alluvial and reef mining operations.
